I'd wanted new windows and external doors for a few years but so many companies, once they sense trade, will pester and I definitely didn't want that. It was purely by chance, while having a catch up with a friend, she mentioned getting new windows and mentioned Window Store. She said the windows were good quality, the window fitters considerate and efficient and also mentioned there was no pestering once interest was shown. I contacted Window Store and arranged an appointment for Wullie to measure etc. I visited the showroom (beautiful) to choose window fittings and doors. A hassle free quote was given, time to consider, and once accepted a date given for fitting. A week before the fitting date I received correspondence showing photographs of the window fitters I could expect. Kyle and Michael arrived and worked efficiently and professionally on the days they were working always vacuuming and clearing any mess at end of the day. The rooms where the windows were fitted did not require any decoration on completion. I am satisfied with the work that was done and happy to have lovely windows at last. I would very much recommend Window Store.

We visited the showroom after seeing a few other local companies. What i liked about Graeme from the start was he had time to listen to you and go through the range and our requirements. As we were browsing we had felt elsewhere we were wasting their time. Not with Graeme, he explained thoroughly his new range and then let us 'play' with the doors and explained the different combinations available. The installation team arrived on time and got straight to it replacing our front and back doors. Throughout they were exceptionally clean and tidy, and took every piece of mess away with them.

I think it's important to say as well with recent events, all surfaces on both doors and areas which they had been working were disinfected when they had finished, and they adhered to all guidelines throughout.

Over all a very pleasant experience well worth the wait.

We recently had French doors plus a front door and side panel fitted by the Window Store. The whole experience was extremely positive.

All the staff were very professional and knowledgeable, they even had lollipops to keep the kids busy while they helped us choose the best products for our needs.

A long overdue review. We got our replacement windows and doors fitted the first week in May it has been one of the best things we have done. As we stay on a noisy main road we wanted a product which was quite soundproof and draughtproof and also looked good the windows and doors are that and more, they look fantastic. We phoned asking about a replacement window situated on the second floor of our house a fair height up and was told by Eileen just to take a pic and they would give us a price I was sceptical it was this easy, but I did and they did. A few weeks later and we have our nice new window at the price quoted. They do what it says on the tin! Very impressed with the service from order to fitting.

Had our new windows installed this week, fantastic job from start to finish! Jamie and Conner were very helpful, polite and left everything clean and tidy. The wood finish on the inside is beautiful and the cladding out front just finished everything off perfectly. They started and finished the work when they said they would. Very happy.

We had a look around the market and collected several quotes and whilst Window Store were not the cheapest, when we looked at what they had installed on neighboring properties, they looked the best value. We were not disappointed by their service in anyway, and the one issue we had, they sorted immediately.We are delighted with their service and product.

This company are wonderful. When I bought my windows and doors form them I was totally impressed by Graham the owner. The products are first class and there after service second to none I bought the windows and doors in 2012 (or so I thought) I was informed by Graham that it was actually 2008 (Old age doesn't come itself) Of course i was the normal complaining member of the public when I phoned because my lock had jammed on the back door and of course being a complaining member of the public.. thought that this was covered in my guarantee it wasn't for 2 reasons The first was that I was well past my guarantee period and the second was that the hardware was covered for 5 years and not 10 as Id thought. Graham called into my house after a long day at work on his way home and replaced the lock barrel ... no grumpiness... no argument.. the mans a marvel. If you are looking for windows or doors the Window Store is the best place in Scotland to go. They are highly competitive and the fitting and product would be the envy of most double glazing companies who are there to make a quick buck. Well done Graham...well done Window Store cant recommend these guys highly enough

I first got a quote back in May of this year from Windows Store and a few other places. What I liked about Windows Store was unlike the other places I’d had quotes from there was no hard sales pitch They measured up and emailed a quote the next day and it was up to me to decide and contact them if I wanted to go ahead It was then September when I decided to go with Windows Store and I then popped into the showroom I spoke to Graeme and booked in dates for my windows and doors to be fitted. The installation date was only 4 weeks away. Wully then came out promptly after booking dates with Graeme to do a complete measure up The week before my windows and doors were due to be fitted I received my installation notification and guarantee by post. What I appreciated with the installation notification is having the photos of Windows Stores installation team who would be fitting my windows and doors. Recently got Window Store to install new windows, door,patio door into house, Having got few quotes from other companys i decided on Window Store as they done previous house and was really pleased with completed work and workmanship.They were not the lowest quote i got but they were far from the highest and i knew the work would be done on time as they said and would be of the highest standard, which im glad to say i was right on both counts. With regards to the completed work, the windows look fantastic but more importantly the difference to heat being kept in the house instead off filtering out is most pleasing aspect. Ours wasn't a straight forward job - we ordered c.20 windows of all shapes and sizes. I have to commend Graeme for both his keen pricing as well as his professionalism.The options were all talked through and the relatively tight delivery times were met without any drama. Recently we had a burglary at our home and our garage was targeted. The thief then attempted to break into our home via our French Doors. Luckily the double glazed units defeated the thief, who tried at 8 separate points to gain entry. Window-store supplied all our double glazing and I am so relieved, due to the quality of the product, that the burglar did not gain entry into my home. We have had nothing but excellent service from the Window Store. Having had our French doors supplied and fitted, we were more than happy to return a year later to have the rest of our windows replaced. We have now just had a new front door installed and are delighted with the impact it's made on the house. We approached Graeme at Window Store as we wanted a no hassle quote and quality workmanship. That we have certainly got! Absolute fantastic company to deal with. From the initial design, straight through to the joiners fitting them, we couldn't recommend this company enough! Got my brand new composite door last month. still getting used to it. what a difference!!! They even fixed my back door and it's wooden! No more drafts. All that's left now is a quote for a new back door n a new black panel under the window. Sure I'll be writing a 3rd review following their 4th visit. expect another call Lol.

I needed 8 replacement windows for my house in Edinburgh and had been recommended window store. All I had to do was supply rough sizes for each window and the style of window required.I e-mailed this information to Graeme along with 

some pictures of the old windows and he came back to me right away with estimate, I decided next day to change one of the 8 windows into a patio door and was given immediate quote on the very reasonable extra cost.No hassle at all and a very fair price for whole job.Wullie then came to house to get exact dimensions and fitting date was agreed. Stewart and Jamie came and fitted the windows, despite my being in South Edinburgh and the bridge congestion they arrived bang on time on all of the 3 days required to do the job. No mess left, very well finished. The house is now much warmer and quieter since new windows fitted. I am very pleased with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone.

I am posting this on behalf of my elderly grandparents.... They have recently had all their double glazing installed by Graeme and co on my recommendation as they know I've used them twice and my parents have used them and had complete faith that every thing would go to plan which of course it did. I had windows fitted 18 months ago and was impressed by the workers, they were pleasant and always left everything tidy when they finished. Unfortunatly after winter had passed , one of my windows had a little mark like rust inbetween the pains a manufacturer fault, we called the window store who were very helpful and replaced the window quickly. We recently ordered and then had fitted a new door and fanlight. We are both delighted with the products but also with the service. The date was arranged and suitable measurements taken. Two men duly arrived on time on the correct date and worked well. They were professional, friendly and very tidy. They even brought their own wheelie bin to take away all the rubbish which was very impressive 

so within a few hours our door and surrounds were transformed.

Had my windows replaced by the team 6 years ago and was delighted with them so when I needed new doors I went straight to window store. Unfortunatley my new composite front door came with white surrond instead of mahogany to match my windows so they took it away and replaced it with Mahogany, no hassles or drama, both doors now look stunning and the workmanship from Wullie was excellent as usual. All Window companies are not created equal, they all shine when everything is going well for them, however the true measure a company is how well they react and deal with any issues should they arise. There was a manufacturing fault with one of my window frames,causing slight splitting at a join.A call to Graham, and within minutes a new one was ordered up and i had a date for a replacement, now that's service that can't be beaten, every company has minor problems from time to time, it's how they deal with it that sets them apart and Window store puts the customer first, i can now guarantee it ! Just had a fantastic service from Window Store. We selected a timber sash & case window which looks superb. The fitting was carried out on time by 2 very professional joiners, Willie & Kevin. Kevin was absolutely excellent, a very pleasant young man with a very consumer focused attitude, a delight to have working on our home! All in all we are delighted and are now considering having further windows installed.

I know how important these messages are to window store,had french doors fitted in september so pleased with the quality,service and finish went in the next day and got a quote for whole house 7 windows and front door with upc cladding,gave go ahead same day,just finished job 12,13,14 november and WOW! cant believe the change so bright and fresh looking,wullie and kevin excellent no mess or fuss just got on with the job.i just think window store bussines ethos is spot on,no hard sell,you get what you want well done greame and window store.

I am having my third purchase from the Window Store installed today. As always the Joiner turned up promptly and the installation is proceeding as efficiently as I have come to expect from them. The quality of the windows and french doors I have had installed is great and all at a very reasonable price. On every occasion I have dealt with the Window Store the service has been friendly and they have really made sure I get exactly what I want in terms of look and that it does exactly what I need it to do.

They were very good at ensuring the new doors and windows fitted in with the style of the house (old) and the style of the other doors that were already at the property which had been my main concern before buying them. I would happily use Window Store again and have already recommended them to my friends.

When we first walked into Graeme's showroom we weren't sure exactly what we wanted, we read all the reviews on the website and the good reviews pushed us towards The Window Store. My wife is very fussy but when we saw the black windows, of the office my wife made up her mind that she wanted the black windows......but, had to be black on the inside too! Graeme gave us lots of great advice and help picking exactly what we wanted. Once we had settled on everything and agreed when the job was going to go ahead, it seemed like time sped up and the doors and windows were in. Graeme's team came in and did the job when they said they would, The lads were quick, clean and very professional. We are extremely pleased with the whole experience and we will definitely use Graeme and his guy's again for our next home improvement project. We are delighted with the new front and back doors, patio door and eight windows fitted in our home by Window-store. We can only add to all the praise already given to Wullie and Stuart. We've never seen anyone work as hard as they did. And, yes they did indeed leave the house clear and tidy each time they finished up for the day. If you can imagine walls being knocked out and dust and plaster flying everywhere but not a speck left behind, then you too will appreciate the job they do. Brilliant products; Excellent workmanship and fitting; and a very friendly, no nonsense, informal but professional service. A+, 5 stars, etc, etc! These guys fitted 5 new tilt & turn white UPVC windows and a new white UPVC front door to my flat. The quality of both the units and the work done is fantastic. My flat looks and feels much newer, fresher and brighter. All work was completed over 2 days, to an extremely high standard... Including the boys cleaning up after themselves! The whole process of visiting to survey, gather info/measurements and price the job was refreshingly no-b.s!!! No sitting with the typically part-trained 'sales-person', listening to unnecessary presentations and filling out pointless bits of paper! Just a friendly and and informal chat, quick measure up, then Graeme was off to confirm a price. On that note, I can't stress enough how competitive these guys are when it comes to price! I find it very difficult to believe that anyone can come close to delivering the same product/service combination at the same rates. All in all, I'm a very happy customer in this case, and would be more than prepared to recommend these chaps to anyone looking to have windows, doors or both done.

Graeme and his team of expert window fitters enough for the fantastic job they made of fitting my windows on Kirkcaldy High St.  From the first chat to the completion of the job the service and product i received would be hard to improve on for any company. This side of the Mississippi after the completion of the fitting they tidied everything up to such an extent that apart from the new superb windows you would hardly know they had been there. i have had windows fitted in numerouse properties by various companies and for value for money and expertise the Window Store were far and away the best of the lot.

I had a door and a window supplied and fitted on my porch almost 4 years ago, so I think that I can submit a long term review. First: The arrangements for measurement were very quick. I've called the store, one of the joiners they are using came over to see me the following day. I was given a choice of windows, doors, key mechanism, finishes etc. After making my choice he left. Fast forward a week later, at prearranged date and time the guys had arrived on the spot. The job was done within an hour, however there was an issue with the door. There was a scratch on the surface. I have to point out that I haven't noticed that, it was the guys fixing the door that had notice the scratch. I was assured that this will be sorted out ASAP. An hour after they left the Window Store called back to let me know that new panel was ordered. Few days later I was contacted to arrange a time for the issue to be sorted. Once again the guys arrived on time and everything was sorted.....now fast forward 4 years.... Everything still look new and I haven't had any issues. Bottom line, excellent product with 10 years warranty. Superb customer care (everything was done over the phone) and impeccable workmanship and finish. Highly recommended.

Just had all my windows, doors, sliding doors and porch done by Windowstore couldn’t have asked for a better service from start to finish, had a few quotes but Wullie was by far the most genuine down to earth not like other salesmen (who I won’t mention) just came to house measured up and gave us detailed quote day after and left it with us to get back in touch with them. On day of installation Kyle and Michael turned up on time and worked hard every day standard of work was superb all finishings are perfect, all rubbish took away each day no mess at all for me to deal with which was great, my house has been transformed thanks to Windowstore would highly recommend without a doubt.

Having previously used Window Store in the past, it made total sense to return and take advantage of the first class service and top quality workmanship Graham and his whole team provides. I can't praise the installation team of Kyle and Michael enough for their professional attitude in the midst of one of the worst days of weather the east coast of Fife decided to provide us with. Over the course of 2 days Kyle and Michael have managed to install 6 sash and case windows, all finished to a very high standard and with the very minimum of disruption to the house and surrounding area. Quiet and industrious, these 2 young men were simply amazing...(pro-tip: just keep the tea and coffee flowing, intersperse with the occasional fried-egg roll and your installation experience will go without a hitch.  If you want a high spec product, a professional service all at a fantastic price, look no further than Window Store.

Excellent service from the Window Store. We had our front door and two windows replaced all completed in one day in time for us getting home from work as promised. Considering the work that was done our home was left spotless. The timber used matches the rest of our home which we were delighted about.
