  • What's the average lead time from ordering to receiving an installation?

    We always aim to fit your order within four weeks of receiving your order.

  • Why dont you manufacture ?

    We receive extremely high-quality service and products from Consort. With regulations changing, such as the BSI and AKCA certification and the BFRC challenges, we can compete with national companies by staying bang-up-to-date with our products at a local company cost.

  • Do you manufacture your windows and doors ?

    No, for the last 16 years, we have used Consort windows in Sutton-in-Ashfield. We have an exclusivity arrangement and are their only customer in Fife. They make everything to our high specification, and although there is no FENSA in Scotland, we achieve the same standard of product.

  • What window and door profile do you use ?

    VEKA. Many companies use VEKA, but the PVC element is a small portion of the complete product. The hardware and glass choices, as are the fitting and finishings, are paramount.

  • Do you have your own fitters ?

    Yes, we do. Our longest-serving member was with us for 26 years.

  • What type of guarantee do you offer for installed products ?

    We cover all moving parts for 5 years and the glass and frames for 10 years. Many companies say 10 but exclude essential items in the terms and conditions. We don't.

  • How long have you been in buisness ?

    We started in 1996, so twenty-nine years still run by the original owner, Graeme Smart.
