The whole industry has gone energy daft,  including us, I may add . However, in England a governing body called FENSA have been appointed to force companies to comply with the new regulations . Frames and glass both come under the spotlight, making it harder for companies to sell inferior window systems and glaze them with standard double glazing units. I  believe there is also a daily fine charged if a company  fails to comply with FENSA  rules.  That's all very well in England, but in Scotland there are hundreds of  double glazing  companies operating  unpoliced at the moment. However, if we opened a branch in England  tomorrow, we could operate without changing a thing, as we already adhere to current regulations.
